Here's something for broadband people that will really speed up Firefox :

1.Type 'about:config' into the address bar and hit enter. Scroll down and look for the following entries: -
network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set 'network.http.pipelining' to 'true' (double click to change)
Set 'network.http.proxy.pipelining' to 'true' (double click to change
Set 'network.http.pipelining.maxrequests' to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once. (double click to enter number)

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it 'nglayout.initialpaint.delay' and set its value to '0'. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.

If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages MUCH faster now!"

Yesterday a butterfly
Came floating gently through the sky.
He soared up through the atmosphere
Then drifted close enough to hear.

I said, "I'd love to fly with you
And sail around the way you do.
It looks like it would be such fun
To fly up toward the summer sun.

But I have not your graceful charm.
I haven't wings, just these two arms.
I've been designed to walk around.
My human feet must touch the ground.

Then magically he spoke to me
and told me what his wish would be.

nobody can be really content with their lives, we always want something,
something we strive hard to reach or buy if it's a material thing.
contentment. what does it really mean?
does it mean if we're happy, we're already contented?
no. that's why we're not perfect.
we always want something, and we're never content with what we have.
if we could only see God's precious gifts like what the butterfly and the human did,
all of us can really understand the meaning of life.

it's an old nick that i have thought of,
for online gaming and stuff.
maybe for a few minutes now, i have thought of sharing what i;m feeling and thinking right now. (hey, that's why i have a blog. stupid me. tsk.)

really, i just thought of "hey, i don't think this suits me anymore".
it really hit me.
i have to grow and eventually think of ways to earn money now.
this sucks. i really wanted to relax a bit more and do my usual stuff.
that's what my mind tells me anyway.
but i still have to face reality.
i'm not born with a name such as "princess" or something even close to it.

i am simple.
and i have to live with it that way.

this post is completely random,
i'm just writing down my thoughts and maybe try to collect them when i read this again.
maybe this is just because i have to do some work tomorrow. oh heck, it's already past 12. so i guess it's TODAY.

sad as it may seem, it's already October 1.
i didn't even feel September 30. :(
i hope i'm making sense.
